Harry Frankenberg with Mrs Buch (Bödexen) whose father took the family to the ship in Hamburg in 1938

In June 2010 Harry Frankenberg visited Höxter and his native place Vörden. He was born in 1929 (Horst at that ime) in Vörden and in 1938 fled with his parents to the United States where he is living today with his family in New Jersey. He is a member of the local family Frankenberg widespread in the region of eastern Westphalia before the Third Reich.
